joe. The housing of the storage units, which are shown at Motek, consist of cast iron or stamped steel and can be combined with different bearing inserts. Cast iron housing have a high stiffness against deformation and the inclusion of medium to high loads suitable. For low loaded structures are punched and galvanized sheet steel casing. They allow a much lighter construction and are characterized by a very simple installation. They offer reliable and affordable storage solutions for applications in materials handling, for example in conveyor belts, but also with heavy equipment, farm equipment or in the steel industry.
Auto tune compensates for misalignment
The bearing inserts are made of single row deep groove ball bearings with double seal against moisture, dust and splash water. Depending on the application, there are different seal types are available. The locking of the bearings are on the shaft by means of set screws or eccentric rings, allowing for easy assembly.
